The Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku accompanied by his Jigawa State counterpart, Muhammed Badaru Abubakar, were among hundreds of mourners who attended the funeral prayer of the late Alhaji Yahaya Bawa, (Tafidan Gwandu), in Jega.
The late Alhaji Yahaya Bawa Jega, Tafidan Gwandu, died today, Friday, 25th September, 2020, at the age of 97, at the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi, after a protracted illness
The nonagenarian left behind four wives, 56 children and 342 grandchildren.

Press Release: Bagudu Commissions 2 World Class Blocks at Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital
Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Tuesday, commissioned two newly constructed storey buildings comprising a World Class paediatric Medical Ward at the Premier Specialist Hospital, Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital Birnin Kebbi, which was established since 1954.
Bagudu, who was represented at the epoch-making event by the Health Commissioner, Jafar Mohammed, said that, the project was part of the ongoing rehabilitation of all hospitals across the twenty one local governments in the state.
